Five things you must know about Bangkok condo rentals
by editor on May.21, 2009, under News
Locating a Bangkok accommodation is not a tough task, as you will find a lot of options. The key is for you to find a rental, which meets all your specifications and requirements. This, people say, is a tough deal because it is very rare that people get everything they want.
Coming to think of considerations, you will find the 5 factors mentioned below rattling the minds of a lot of people.
- The distance from the city – Now, this is based on individual thoughts and preferences. Some people may like their rental home to be right in the midst of all the action. On the other hand, some may like it peaceful. Depending on what you like, you should go for your choices.
- Amenities of the home – Most homes in Bangkok are well-equipped in terms of amenities provided to them. Good amenities thus are important features in any Bangkok home, and in most cases, you will not find them being compromised at all.
- How much do you have to pay? – Of course, price becomes the talking point in choosing a Bangkok apartment for rent. Rental prices here are at a high, and this primarily has been the way for the last some years.
- Any overheads? – You will find that rental homes in uptown areas like Sukhomvit will have high maintenance and other overhead charges. Do well to study these charges before you choose a rental.
- Any possibility of a rent hike in the future – The rents here in Bangkok are anyways on the higher side of the scale, so any hike in them could leave you dry. Speak to your real estate agent and find out if there is a possibility of rents shooting up in the near future.
Analyze these factors carefully! Do you see how related to each other they are? This really is a problem most guys face when they think of renting an apartment in Bangkok.
Oklahoma Physician Jobs FAQ
by editor on May.21, 2009, under News
When you are thinking about taking a physician contract, it’s natural to be excited and to look forward to a long career. There can be pitfalls for the unwary, however, and here are some questions wich may help you avoid those pitfalls.
Q: Should I hire a lawyer to review my physician employment contract?
A: In general, yes. The choice of a lawyer is critical. Find someone well versed in medical contract law, as well as the state’s laws in which you will practice. Try to find an attorney recommended by someone else. Also, make sure the attorney has enough time to review the contract in a timely manner. Negotiations could be hampered by a slowed response time.
Q: If I am a resident, when should I decide upon accepting a position?
A: As a general rule, the earlier the better. The more time you have to work on license applications, hospital privileges, finding a new home and moving arrangements, the less stress you’ll encounter. Many hospitals recruit for summer positions in the fall and early winter. Don’t think all of the “good” physician jobs are taken by the end of winter. Physicians throughout the year because contract expirations can occur at any time. Don’t worry. Have confidence that the right position will be available.
Q: Who handles negotiations, me or my recruiter?
A: Whenever possible, your recruiter should handle negotiations for physician practice opportunities. Having a liaison reduces the potential for heated arguments between two parties. Keep in mind, professional recruiters regularly perform this task.
The Bathroom Layout Can Affect The Whole Appearance Of The Home
by editor on May.21, 2009, under News
When finding the best bathroom layout, there are a few factors that must be thought of first before proceeding the project. Most of the designs that you will be creating may permanent, so more careful preparation should be implemented. One of the first considerations should be to determine the best supplies that will be just right for the size of the bathroom. A miniature size bathroom would look perfect with tiny sized tiles. Many property owners research bathroom makeovers before beginning their bathroom layout. Using a large tile layout will make the bathroom looking even smaller. The use of natural and light colors stops the look of cramped space so that is also recommended .
Another significant aspect to reflect on when looking for a perfect bathroom blueprint is the installation of bathroom fixtures. Modern fittings today have accents in brass but the white as well as colors are still popular . Many DIY television shows will feature bathroom makeover in their shows. Contemporary bathroom layouts are also portrayed by the installation of corner fixtures, corner showers and steel bathtubs. Bathroom blueprints may also have to involve lighting arrangements and layouts. They can be very simple designs to dynamic blueprints with all sorts of colors and shapes. Lights could have dimmers so they can be adjusted to suit your moods or needs. Even the faucets are vital as they can affect the over all look that you are trying to achieve .
The more traditional type of bathroom blueprints are accentuated with floral designs and the contemporary layouts are usually characterized by geometric designs that make use of all the space of the bathroom. Old bathtubs consist of an elongated base while modern ones have pedestal sinks and frosted shower doors. Look for the term small bathroom design in your favorite search engine and you will locate plenty of sites on the subject. Even the use of the bathroom rug is also an important thing to consider. Apart from their obvious goal, bathroom rugs can have a decorative purpose and you may see that they can add an accent to your blueprint. You should also have to consider whether you need to make your bathroom blueprint useful for guest with physical incapabilities. If you reasonably foresee that the bathroom could be used frequently by a lot of people, you may have to make provisions for more durable blueprints.
In today’s settings, many bathrooms are small in measurement and there are plenty of blueprints that can make the most of the small area available. Cabinets and storage receptacles should be tucked in a bit near the wall so they shouldn’t take much of the available space . Sliding doors should also be used as they can be slid without taking any space at all. Optical illusions created by light and mirrors are also functional in small bathroom area to make it look much bigger than it really is. Mirrors are commonly used to create the look of bigger space. They reflect the light and let the bathroom shine better.
Niche Ideas Galore - The Google Wonder Wheel
by editor on May.20, 2009, under News
Have you ever had trouble brainstorming niche ideas for your next website? Do you regularly suffer from analysis paralysis when sifting through long keyword lists? It’s about time you made things easier on yourself. Go graphical with your niche research and check out the Google wonder wheel…
Niche marketing has really come of age in the last couple of years. Plenty of people have been making good money in niche marketing for some time and those people, being the early birds, made more money than most catching those worms. But don’t sweat it, there’s still plenty of room for everybody to get into the niche marketing game. The number of niches waiting to be tapped is endless.
One of the biggest problems many niche marketers face is actually coming up with ideas for new niches. It’s a bit like the writers block syndrome. Some days you just seem to have no inspiration whatsoever. Maybe you are suffering from analysis paralysis or maybe it’s the fact that you had one too many beers last night! Whatever it is Google is coming to your rescue.
Recently announced over at Google is this fantastic new tool which they are calling the Google wonder wheel. It’s a graphical representation of the relationship between key phrases associated with your initial query. It gives you a great insight into Google’s relational databases and you can see at a glance how Google thinks key phrases relate to each other. Can you say “create Seo friendly content easily”?
You simply tap in your top-level key phrase and the Google wonder wheel returns a graphical “wheel” of related terms. You can then drill down into these related terms as many levels as you like. The graphical nature of this interface makes it very easy to identify sub niches and subcategories inside your main niche. Drilling down through as few as three levels you will almost always find fantastic ideas for sub niches.
This stuff is just waiting to be monetised and I found it much easier navigating through the wonder wheel then painstakingly picking through CSV files downloaded from Google’s external keyword tool. I highly recommend you give it a try. I’m sure it will make your niche research efforts go much more smoothly.
Positive Signs as Barclays Buys 9.5 million shares in Discover Leisure
by editor on May.20, 2009, under News
Barclays Bank have increased their share holdings in the outdoor leisure company Discover Leisure (DISL) after recently purchasing an additional 9.5 million shares.
“Presumably, Barclays think they are a viable investment opportunity. None of this indicates an undue likelihood of imminent collapse of the company, although in the current economic situation, this could probably not be ruled out entirely for a great many businesses”
Discover over the past week or so have made their country wide operations more lean by closing some of the smaller stores nationwide, while keeping hold of their core, larger sites which means they are well setup to weather out the current worldwide financial storm.
Furthermore, the leisure industry, especially in the UK has been hit quite hard and with little to no help or goverment intervention many of Discover’s competitors have fell by the way side and gone under. This again shows positive signals for Discover shares and profitability due to less supply and greater current demand due to holiday makers looking for more cheaper, closer to home holiday getaways rather than booking holidays abroad, which has been covered by the BBC news and the Financial Times.
For Discover Leisure (DISL) share holders, although the current share price isn’t great, but bearing the above factors in mind, these are great reasons to hold on to your shares, if not buy while at a bargain price before they find their feet again and regain something like their original share price from 1 year plus ago, the rewards will be substantial.

Great Hotels and Flights
by editor on May.19, 2009, under News
Many people think that the absolute highlight of a visit to a hotel ATHENS is the stunning evidences of the ancient, the classical Greek city, most famously epitomized by the Acropolis and its surrounding archeological sites. Even on a brief vacation to one of the exquisite hotels, however, it is a shame to see Athens plainly as the location of ancient sites and museums. Although the neighbourhoods may be without the style and monuments of most European capitals, they are worth at least some study. The old nineteenth-century quarter of Pláka, to be precise, is a delight, with its mix of Turkish, Neoclassical and Greek-island architecture, and an array of appealing little museums devoted to traditional arts, ceramics and music. Just to its north, the bazaar area, around Athinás and Eólou, retains an almost Middle Eastern atmosphere in its life and trade, while the National Gardens, aristocratic Kolonáki and the hill of Lykavitós offer a breath from the maelstrom. Further afield, but still well within the limits of Greater Athens, are the monasteries of Kessarianí and Dhafní, the ulterior with Byzantine mosaics the equal of any in Greece.
Another popular hotel resort, and a place where you need to find cheap flights to is Paris, France. There are times, Paris can feel inhumanly commanding, the arrogance of its monuments around the chilly pomp of the Panthéon, the industrial chic of the Eiffel Tower and the almost spiritual glasswork of the Louvre pyramid. Yet it also operates on a very scale, with exquisite, secretive little nooks tucked away from the Grands Boulevards and very exact little communities revolving around games of boules and the local boulangerie and café. And even as Paris’s culture is transformed by its large immigrant and gay populations, even as extravagant new buildings are commissioned and erected, many of the city’s streets, cafés and restaurants remain remarkably, defiantly unchanged.
Keeping Up My Energy Levels During Workouts
by editor on May.19, 2009, under News
I’m always looking for ways to maximize my workout. I’ve discovered what works for me time wise isn’t the most efficient body-wise. A mid afternoon workout is my best scheduled time but it is in the morning that my body co-operates the best.
I’ve analyzed my routine and found that short bursts of aerobic exercise between weights gives me maximum benefits as well as breaking up the “sameness” of it all.
The biggest obstacle that I have been working on is keeping my energy level up throughout the entire workout. After all, what is a workout if it’s not working out?
I’ve always had a healthy and hearty breakfast and followed fitness advice to drink plenty of fluids (16 – 20 oz) a couple of hours before my workout. However, I found that 30 minutes into the workout my energy level went way down. It wasn’t just tiredness either.
I even experimented with a little snack of fruit about 30 minutes before to keep my blood sugar levels up. This helped a little.
What has really made the difference is drinking a juice made from a green fruit called TAHITIAN NONI® Juice. I’ve read that marathon runners, surfing champions and professional athletes drink it for energy and for after competition recovery. There must be something to it.
I discovered it really does work! I followed the directions on the bottle, drinking 1 oz of TAHITIAN NONI® Juice first thing in the morning. But I found that if I drink another 1 oz about an hour before my workout it made a significant difference. If I workout every day of the week I will drink 2 oz in the morning on the heavier workout day and then 1 oz the next day (my lighter workout day). The 2 oz does give me a quicker recovery time. My muscles aren’t as sore and I don’t feel as spent.
All in all, I’m satisfied. Discovering the right time to workout (when possible), the best workout routine for me, the right type and amount of food to eat and drinking TAHITIAN NONI® Juice for energy and recovery has pushed me forward in results. I’m starting to reach the goals I once only dreamed about.

CIO BootCamp
Who: Alan Saldich, vice president of product marketing and alliances, Riverbed
When: Monday, May 18, 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Where: Room: South Seas F
Why: Mr. Saldich will co-present with a Riverbed customer to discuss the
major network integration and consolidation of 64 sites that followed a corporate merger, and how the customer doubled available bandwidth while simultaneously reducing data network operating expenses by more than 20 percent. The presentation will also provide details on how Riverbed WAN optimization enabled the company to
slash replication times and reduce transfer times of 12 Gigabyte files from five hours to 30 minutes, providing a significant competitive advantage.
Keynote Panel: Reinventing the Data Center
Who: Dr. Mark Stuart Day, chief scientist, Riverbed
When: Wednesday, May 20, 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Where: Ballroom: Mandalay Bay H
Why: New requirements, new architectures and new constraints are creating a new order inside the data center. Our panel of experts will debate the effects of virtualization and high-speed networking as they describe the shape of things to come and what users need to do to prepare for the next generation of data center solutions.
Conference Session: A Comparison of WAN Optimization Controllers
Who: Apurva Dave, senior director of product marketing, Riverbed
When: Tuesday, May 19, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Where: Room: Breakers E
Why: The vast majority of workers currently reside in branch offices and access applications over relatively low-speed and high-latency WANs. This use of the WAN causes many applications to perform badly. To mitigate the impact of the WAN on application performance, many vendors have developed a solution referred to as a WAN Optimization Controller (WOC). In this PowerPoint-free session, leading WOC
vendors will be asked questions to identify the similarities and differences between their products.
Conference Session: The Future of Application Delivery
Who: Alan Saldich, vice president of product marketing and alliances, Riverbed
When: Thursday, May 21, 11:30 am - 12:30 p.m.
Where: Room: Breakers E
Why: A couple of years ago, it was common to equate application delivery to network and application optimization. However, ensuring successful application delivery requires that IT organizations do more than just implement optimization techniques. It also involves planning, management and control that extends to a wide range of IT
disciplines, not just networks. As a result, most of the application delivery vendors have begun to develop expertise in other areas, including security, storage and management. In this session, leading vendors will outline their divergent views on the future of application delivery.
